Brief topic summary:

Topic A: Space Warfare

Technology has evolved so much throughout the last century that we humans can now leave our home planet and travel through the stars to uncover the mysteries of the cosmos. New ideas for different forms of communication and transportation have been greatly considered because of the countless possibilities it has to offer. Because of this, it is no mistake that governments worldwide are seeing the military capabilities of space. A race has begun and if not contained or regulated, we are seeing at a possible world crisis in our hands. Delegates must discuss the probable use of space for military purposes by either creating guidelines for countries to follow when outside of the planet, banning certain actions from being held or outright prohibiting the use of space for military reasons.

Topic B: Foreign Military Intervention into Civil Conflicts

Civil wars have existed since the dawn of time, but never have they been as deadly as they can be now. With the constant evolution of technology the world is in a continuous state of change. New machinery, vehicles and weaponry are being made and with that, the risk of civilian casualties has exponentially increased. In a world where wars are seizing and technology is at its greatest and most dangerous peek, is it acceptable for a nation to enact military intervene in matters that only concern another country's well being? Or is it unacceptable for a country to even consider such actions? These are only a fraction of the questions delegates must be answering in order to solve this issue and create a stable framework and precedent in order to effectively act in the future.
