Brief topic summary:
Topic A: Unification of the Korean Peninsula
For decades, the North and South of the Korean Peninsula have fought over control of the territory, never giving in and always trying to get the upper hand. The last couple of decades have been of relative peace in the region; nevertheless, tensions have begun to rise once again and it is your job as delegates to find a possible solution to this conflict-torn territory in order to try and achieve lasting harmony once and for all.
Topic B: The issue of terrorist attacks on Europe
Terrorism has been at it's highest in history these past years. Nations such as Spain, Great Britain and even France have suffered tremendous losses because of the issue. Populations are scared and nations are terrified they will be next on this never-ending barrage of attacks. The Security Council must find a way to prevent this attacks from happening again and, if they do, the committee must be ready to act as swiftly as possible in order to ensure the safety of civilians.
