Dress Code

Dress code at WAMUN 2017 will be strict. Please follow the established guidelines. Anything not mentioned on this list is not allowed. If you have any questions, please contact us at wamun2017@gmail.com

WARNING: There will be someone checking you at the entrance. Anyone not in compliance will be sent back home.

MALE

Full suits (gray, navy blue, black, or brown). Khaki pants are allowed.

Suits include ties. Note: sweaters do not replace a blazer. Try your best to find one if you do not have one.

Shoes and socks must be formal.

Brightly colored trousers will not be allowed (green, yellow, red, or anything other than gray, navy blue, black, khaki and brown).

Bow ties are strongly discouraged.

Final note: look professional.

FEMALE

Although dresses are not forbidden, we strongly recommend pantsuits or professional skirts. Skirts must be at knee level when standing, maximum four fingers above the knee while sitting.

Shoulders should not be visible. We recommend toes be hidden as well.

Colors worn must be appropriate and professional.

Sunglasses won't be necessary: leave them at home.

If you believe your outfit may not be allowed, it probably won't. However, please do contact us before you arrive if you have any doubts.
